How long does shipping take?
Each Victorian Sewing Chest ships from a specialty workshop overseas and arrives at your door in 10 to 16 days. You'll receive tracking the moment your order is on its way. If you need it by a specific date, email hello@sorasewing.com before ordering and we'll let you know what's possible.
Can I return it?
Yes — within 30 days of delivery, no questions asked. Email hello@sorasewing.com and we'll send a return label. Refund processed within 5 business days of the Chest arriving back. The only thing we ask is that it returns in its original condition.
Can I send it directly as a gift?
Yes. At checkout, enter the recipient's address as the shipping destination and tick 'This is a gift' — we'll never include a price tag or invoice in the package. If it needs to arrive by a particular date, email hello@sorasewing.com before ordering and we'll tell you what's possible.
What's it made of?
The Chest is built from aluminum alloy with a vintage brass-tone finish and an emerald-toned interior lining. The embroidery scissors and needles are functional, hand-stitching tools designed for everyday use. It's made to look like an heirloom — and to last like one.
Will it arrive in time for the holidays?
For Christmas: order by December 5. For Mother's Day: order by April 25. For Valentine's Day: order by January 30. Past those dates, we'll do everything we can but cannot guarantee. When in doubt, email hello@sorasewing.com.
